Learning Activities

Throughout each of the courses you will be asked to participate in certain activities that will help you understand and to learn the material.

There are different types of learning activities (click on the link to see an example)


1. Links Click on the link to bring up different types of learning activities or popup messages.
2. Smart Schools

Put your cursor in the box and enter text as requested in the instructions. Then select the "Check Work" link to compare you answers with those provided.

3. Slide Bars Slide the bar by putting your cursor over the slide part of the bar (sometimes it will say "drag," then simply move the bar to see different results. Sometimes you will have to release the bar to see the results.
4. Listen and Learn

Click on the listen button or the symbol (icon) representing a "speaker." In the example, select the "radio" button indicating how you should address the customer.

Click on either the link or on the photo to start the video. This example demonstrates a source of "stress."
6. Drop Down Boxes By selecting the small downward arrow on the right hand side of the box a list of optional answers will appear. You make your selection by clicking on it with your mouse. Your selected answer will now appear in the box. From here you can check your answers against those prepared for you by clicking on the "Check Work" link.
7. Quick questions

At the end of each page is a "Quick Question" to test your knowledge of what you just learned.

By selecting the correct answer, you will see a small "Pop Up" box. When you select the "Okay" button, the box will close and the next lesson page will open.

If you select the wrong answer, you will get a quick lesson review or be instructed to review the lesson and select again.

In some cases there are no right or wrong answers, just preferences.
